Yavuz Emre Arslan

Dr. Arslan was born in the city of” Ankara,” Turkey, in 1983. He received his master’s degree (in 2008) and Ph.D. (in 2013) from the University of Ankara, Department of Chemistry, Division of Biochemistry. After completing his Ph.D., He started to work in Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Bioengineering in 2013 as Assistant Professor position. He is managing the Regenerative Biomaterials Laboratory as the group leader. Dr. Arslan has published sixteen peer review papers and three book chapters. He also has one national patent related to the “Keratin for Cosmetic & Healthcare.” He is interested in biomaterials, biosensors, hydrogels, stem cells, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. He is a member of the Chemists’ Society (since 2017), Perinatal Stem Cell Society (since 2014), and Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Society (since 2008). At present, he acts as an investigator at three R&D projects granted by TUBITAK (Project Codes: 1001 and 1004).
